About Instructional Design Services at UVSC

The role of Instructional Design Services (IDS) is primarily to design, develop, and produce Distance Education courses and technology-enhanced learning media to ensure exceptional technology-enhanced educational experiences for both learners and instructors. IDS’s ongoing responsibilities are to ensure the accessibility of all Distance Education learning materials, to support DE units in the accomplishment of their objectives by developing and maintaining technologies and Internet-based workflow solutions, and to collaborate with peer institutions and organizations to share research, innovations, and best-practices. Instructional Design Services utilizes its skills, creativity, and vision to outwit the limitations of time and space to serve a new and emerging audience of potential UVSC students and instructional innovators.
